January 4-27: REMEMBERING THE TAYLORS Freeport. Stephenson County Historical Society Museum, 1440 S. Carroll Avenue. Friday thru Sunday: Noon to 4 pm. This exhibit offers memorabilia from the Oscar Taylor family in celebration of the 150th anniversary of the Taylor home that now houses the historical museum. The Taylors moved into the home in 1857. Taylor family members lived in the home until 1944 when it was given to the historical society. Letters, books, pictures, paintings, and clothing are some of the heirlooms on display.
